Romans 3:20:Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

Matthew 5:17: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill”.

Jesus Christ is the LAW made manifest, believing in Him grants access to power to overcome every vice that brings man in contrast with the LAW. Jesus said of the Hebrew scriptures, that is the LAW, “they are they which testify of me” John. 5: 39.

He respected the Law of Moses. Why one asked Jesus “what shall I do to inherit eternal life” Jesus replied, “What is written in the law? How readest thou?” Luke. 10: 25, 26. Sequel to the man’s accurate answer “by alluding to the Ten Commandments”, Jesus said “Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live” Luke10: 27-28.

Yes Christ ended the LAW, he fulfilled it and summarized it to mean love for God and love for man, hence Any man who loves God by accepting his one and final sacrifice of love through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, by believing in his heart and confessing with his mouth is no longer under the danger posed by the LAW. He is a new creature, the new man is configured to reign in Perfection, Holiness and Righteousness.

Roman’s 10:10-11, We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths to say that we believe, and so we are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed. This scripture is not a license for nonsense, it is not liberty to freely indulge in sin.

Grace does not mean visa to continue in sin. It only gives power to overcome it. Romans 6:1, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth, Roman’s 10:4

The above quoted scripture says Christ who is the word  is the LAW, his coming ended the LAW because GOD who is the LAW is now made manifest in with us, EMMANUEL, meaning God with us.

Remember when a man is truly born again, the Holy Spirit takes over, he is a new creature, the old man subjected to the LAW is dead, the Holy Spirit who is God now inhabits him.

Since God cannot be found with evil, any man filled with the Holy Spirit can not be found with sin, therefore the Holy Spirit in the born again Christian puts him above the dictates of the LAW. In other words, the coming of Jesus put an end to the LAW, with the Holy Spirit being our faith companion.
